Sunrise Anjum Resort

This newly opened resort has really made an effort for the guests, and compared to other resorts in the area that claim to be 5 star this actually is. What set them apart are the service level and the staff that go the extra mile for you without even asking, and the food that is of consistently high quality. The resort is also beautifully designed, the rooms as well as the lobby and the main restaurant. It’s very quiet with very few families with kids, which is nice for the other guests visiting. If you’re into snorkeling, this is the place for you. From the hotel’s own jetty you have access to the most spectacular coral reef and you can swim far in either direction with the permission of the life guard. Besides the vast abundance of all kinds of fish, we even saw the Red Sea turtles.

This is an all-inclusive resort and absolutely brand new (opened in April 2024). The aesthetics of this resort is beyond beautiful - we took so many photos and uploaded them onto Instagram!! Every staff member was exceptionally nice (shoutout to 23 y/o kickboxer Mohamed and bartender Farouk at the first pool and hookah preparers Haithem, Ahmed and Hassan in their beachfront Bedouin tent). My friend and I loved the breakfast at Boscage (main restaurant) - it's a mix of local goodies (beans, eggs, breads, cheeses, yogurts). There were options to eat at other restaurants (Basilco Italian and some other Asian restaurant), but the main restaurant food/buffet was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I loved the swim-up bar at the second pool because there was a DJ from the "animation team" that took our requests. The infinity pool is cool to lay out and enjoy the sun. The reception is absolutely accommodating (thanks for using WhatsApp for easy communication) - I love them all! The housekeepers and luggage folks were really helpful too. I would stay at this Resort again, and definitely recommending it to friends/family. Thank you for an experience that is one to remember!!

Sunrise anjum was a perfect summer holiday. We had such a great experience. We booked a junior pool suite which came with a private pool. It’s fantastic for couples who want a little extra privacy as the room is located on the corner. The Italian food is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten, i have to highly recommend to eat there! The international buffet always has a large variety of food to suite everyone’s taste, and is always top quality. This is the first resort we have seen who have a late night snack buffet option, 1am-5am. It’s a brilliant options for those who are staying up late. The beach is out of this world. You can snorkel at the hotel beach and enjoy the beautiful coral views. Literally our first time seeing such a beautiful blue lagoon. Would advise to bring swimming Shoes. The hotel vibes and decor is super chic, elegant and minimal with a relaxing feeling. The staff in this hotel are just exceptional. Literally from the moment we arrived we were looked after. They literally look after everything and anything you need. They are efficient in their customer service and I could not fault them. Mohamed Gaber the Quality Manager manager has made our stay enjoyable,he really made us feel home. Abdel Salem took care of everything before our arrival. I had WhatsApp communication with them all and they were very prompt in replying and meeting our requests for our stay. Bassem, Mohamed Jamal, Omar Ibrahim Mohsin, Saad and Samy in catering always went above and beyond to take care of us during breakfast lunch and dinner. We always had a great laugh with them. Samy was the kindest soul and we always loved seeing him around. Our house keeper Mahmoud was always helpful and attended to us everyday to see if we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Sunrise Anjum hotel, as a family of five (with three older teens). We were sad to leave, although nice touches like a travel lunch box and free late check out were really appreciated. Throughout the stay we were well cared for by the Front Office team, with regular check ins by phone and whats app to ensure all was well. Particular mention for the Front Office Manager Mr Mohamed Magdy whose service and support was exceptional. The multiple pools were really lovely, and we enjoyed them very much. The beach and jetty were also nice and we saw some impressive fish in the coral. However, it was nothing like the trips we went on (organised very well by Ahmed from the diving school). The snorkelling at Wadi El Gemal was out of this world and so highly recommended- swimming in a wild and beautiful aquarium! The service was good in all areas and we must particularly mention the staff at the splash bar who really looked after us well- iced caramel coffees in the morning and delicious cocktails in the afternoon. We also made multiple visits to the spa- which was amazing. Although we have visited many spas throughout the world, we thought this one was truly first class- with amazing massages and a beautiful jacuzzi room. In the first days we were a little nervous with the multiple approaches for various things like beauty centre, dive school, spa, animation- but it was done in a kind and friendly way and in hindsight it was really nice as all the visits and things we did were great. Particular mention to Lucie from the animation team who was really special and a real asset to the hotel. A really sincere and kind person, always smiling and checking all okay. Although we didn’t do too many, the animation activities were all really good, especially the dance shows and the fire show. Overall, a fab hotel and highly recommended.

The food was brilliant, with a large selection we didn't get bored of the food even after 7 days. Great salads, breads, dips, hot/cold foods, desserts and drinks means you can eat as healthy as you want, or stuff yourself like a pig because it's holiday and why not. The staff go out of their way to make sure you're having a great stay and they are all super friendly and welcoming. They really try hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. We took the honeymoon suite but found it a bit noisy by the pool bar, so they found us a new room with absolutely no hesitation which was great. They also went out of their way to make sure we were fed and had a lunchbox for our trip home on the last day. The facilities are all very nice and clean, the pools are heated which was great since we went at the end of winter, great drinks service around the pool and at the beach. Housekeeping was also excellent, keeping not just the room but also the paths and hallways very clean. We went as a couple but it's also good for people with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it
