SUNRISE Anjum Resort

We spent a wonderful week at this resort. The resort is brand new and features one buffet restaurant and two à la carte restaurants (one Italian and one Asian). There is a large selection and variety of food available at all meals throughout the day. The different bars are always open, serving delightful and refreshing cocktails and juices. All areas are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. There are three different swimming pools, and some rooms have a private pool in front of them. It is convenient that the distance from one end of the resort to the other is not too far, so you don't have to spend a lot of time walking to get to the restaurant or the beach. The beach is equipped with numerous beds and umbrellas. It has a dedicated bar with excellent service. The sand is very clean and is reset every evening by rolling for the next day. Access to the sea is via the beach until the jetty is completed. I think it will take a few more months to finish. The underwater scenery in front of the beach is very nice, but if you enjoy snorkeling, I would recommend arranging excursions with the diving center. They are well equipped and very experienced. We went on four excursions: one from the beach and three by boat. The hotel staff is very kind (a special thanks to the waiter Ahmed). We were always in contact with the receptionist via WhatsApp for any needs. If we take another trip to Marsa Alam, we will definitely return here!

The staff is so friendly and is always keen to make our stay a delightful one,, the whole resort (the room, pool, reception, bathrooms ..) is very clean. Special thanks to Abanoub and Mahmoud from the reception team who were very understanding of our special requirements which made our stay a remarkable experience that exceeded our expectations .. It’s definitely not the last time,, wishing u all the best.

Everything was 10/10, From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with very good hospitality, the staff were nothing but welcoming, giving us chocolate and biscuits and fresh juices. After we were seated we quickly got put rooms and were escorted to the restaurant for lunch, the lunch was 10/10 with very high expectation there is a womderful restaurant on the beach italian with surf and turf and very tasty creme brulee. The buffet always has everything you need and if u need a soecial request they will accomodate your needs. The staff are all very friendly always catering to your needs and asking if yoy need anything. Everything was far from perfect and the staff were also so sweet

The food was brilliant, with a large selection we didn't get bored of the food even after 7 days. Great salads, breads, dips, hot/cold foods, desserts and drinks means you can eat as healthy as you want, or stuff yourself like a pig because it's holiday and why not. The staff go out of their way to make sure you're having a great stay and they are all super friendly and welcoming. They really try hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. We took the honeymoon suite but found it a bit noisy by the pool bar, so they found us a new room with absolutely no hesitation which was great. They also went out of their way to make sure we were fed and had a lunchbox for our trip home on the last day. The facilities are all very nice and clean, the pools are heated which was great since we went at the end of winter, great drinks service around the pool and at the beach. Housekeeping was also excellent, keeping not just the room but also the paths and hallways very clean. We went as a couple but it's also good for people with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it

Expérience en famille – Test d’hôtel Our arrival at the hotel immediately set the tone: a quick, professional check-in with a warm welcome. A small but much-appreciated gesture: a welcome drink served with a delicate macaron that delighted the whole family. The staff kindly invited us to enjoy breakfast while our rooms were being prepared — a smooth early check-in that allowed us to start our stay on the right foot. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The selection isn’t enormous, but it’s intentional: every product is fresh, high-quality, well presented, and frequently replenished. At a time when people value quality over quantity, this was exactly what we were looking for. Then, a wonderful surprise: we were upgraded to a swim-up room. Sheer joy on little Henri’s face (and on ours too, to be honest!). The room lived up to the great first impression: spotless, well laid-out, clean, and welcoming. Another lovely detail: the gentleman in charge of housekeeping personally introduced himself and assured us we could reach out to him for anything we needed. That kind of personal touch really makes a difference. Of course, we couldn’t resist a dip in the private pool. Henri jumped right in, and that first moment together in the water was simply perfect. Later on, we walked down a few steps to discover a peaceful little bar beside the adults-only pool — a quiet haven to relax for a while. There, Khalid prepared delicious cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). He even made a special effort for Henri, which truly touched us. Thank you, Khalid! For lunch, we headed to the à la carte Basilico restaurant. The beginning felt a bit off: the ambiance was cooler than the rest of the hotel, and the order taking was a bit confused (dishes before drinks?). We briefly wondered if staff roles were properly coordinated. But quickly, the service picked up pace and warmth. The team stepped in with more flow and friendliness.
